Here are the terms & conditions of buying from Gaz Gaskell, just to clarify some of the FAQs. TERMS & CONDITIONS. The following terms & conditions apply to the sale of goods from Gaz Gaskell Ltd and do not affect your statutory rights. By purchasing goods you are deemed as having accepted these terms & conditions in their entirety. When buying from this website, your contract to buy exists when you have ordered your goods & your order & cleared payment has been received and accepted by Gaz Gaskell Ltd. When buying via Ebay, your contract to buy exists when you do buy it now or win a bid, & you are liable to complete the sale within the terms of Ebay & subject to these terms & conditions. LIABILITY: The customer will be responsible for ensuring the goods fit the purpose of their application. The seller endeavors to ensure information given on this website is correct, but accepts no liability in respect of any loss arising from any such errors. In no event shall any breach of contract or tort or negligence or failure of any kind on our part be accepted as liability for loss of revenue or consequential loss or damage arising from any cause whatsoever. PRICES: All prices are in pounds Sterling and are cash & carry inclusive of vat but excluding post & packaging costs which will be paid by the customer. The price of the goods are those in force at the time the order is made by the customer. Goods can be collected from the seller by prior appointment only AVAILABILITY: Your order for goods is subject to availability. If we are unable to supply goods for any reason, we will inform you & not charge you for the goods & obviously refund any money already paid by you. However, the seller will not be responsible for for any losses you may suffer through non availability of goods. METHODS OF PAYMENT: Cash (collecting customers only) cheque and direct transfer to bank. Visa, Switch, Access, Master card etc payments accepted via our secure payment server (Protx) or Paypal secure payments. Direct credit card payments can be made via our sales hotline; 01695 555303 METHODS & COSTS OF CARRIAGE: Post & shipping costs are shown on product details: Gaz Gaskell Ltd serve as agents only in arranging delivery on behalf of the customer, & whilst every reasonable care is taken will not be liable for any loss, non delivery or damage of customer goods. The shipping/delivery contract will be between shipper & customer and orders placed will be charged as shown on product details. Items may be combined to save on postage costs, please enquire at time of ordering. Delivery via Royal Mail 1st class postal (1-2 day typical) for packages up to 3kg to all UK post codes with proof of posting, which is your guarantee that goods have been dispatched. This service has very limited compensation and requires no signature on delivery, but is low cost & in our experience 99.9% reliable to all UK post codes only. If any loss or damage is incurred it is the customers responsibility to make an appropriate claim against the Royal Mail. The customer may opt for recorded, special delivery or courier services which are signed for, but will pay all extra costs incurred. Royal Mail standard parcel is available to all UK post codes. Heavier & more valuable items are delivered via Business post homeserve next day signed for, & items can be combined up to 15Kg to save on shipping costs. Stated rates apply to mainland UK (excluding Northern Ireland, IOM, Channel isles & some parts of Scotland) as these areas are charged extra by the carrier. Once the driver has obtained a signature on delivery of the goods, this will be deemed as the delivery. All parcels should checked for damage before acceptance & any such damage should be reported immediately. Post & packing costs will be confirmed to you when you order, the seller accepts no liability nor offers any guarantee of delivery times or service levels. The customers delivery contract is with the carrier & the seller acts only as an agent between the two parties. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The time limit for notification of claims regarding delivery. It is the customers responsibility to notify the seller of any Non delivery of order or if goods arrive in damaged condition, within 7 days of the notified dispatch date. GUARANTEE & WARRANTY OF GOODS: All new goods carry a 12 month warranty and should a manufacturing defect develop within this period it is the customers responsibility to contact the seller and arrange for the return of the item. The customer will pay for any post/packing costs in returning the goods to the seller. If a defect is apparent the seller will repair or replace the item as it sees fit and return it to the customer. In the event of no fault being found the seller will return the goods as is to the customer plus a handling charge to cover expenses incurred. In the case of a disputed fault, the decision of the manufacturer or agent will be deemed as final. Damage or misuse by the customer will not be repaired or replaced and void any such guarantee or warranty. Bulbs, speakers, motors, leads etc are consumer items & not covered by the guarantee REFUNDS: The seller offers a 7day money back guarantee on the item price only, subject to terms & conditions, providing ALL the following criteria are met: Goods must be securely packed in original packing, with invoice and in new un-used condition and and shipped at buyers cost to Gaz Gaskell Ltd by a signed for delivery service.
